    Default Error in Webmasters Tools

    A strange thing.
In my site map for Webmasters Tools error occurred:

    Code:
    URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.

    HTTP Error: 301
    URL: http://****.com/de/f1849/liga-360-a-9083/
Problem detected on: Mar 31, 2010
    Redirect address looks like this:

    Code:
    http://****.com/de/f1849/league-360-a-9083/
Previously, I had addresses ending in. Html, and there was no such thing.

Do you by chance such a structure does not address topics such errors, or maybe google something has changed at home?

Such a situation you have since you are using and vBET with vBSEO Sitemap Generator. This is ziwązane with the fact that translators vBET URL, but for performance reasons to go untranslated sitemapy URLs. Therefore, three hundred and first redirected Previously, Google can not record or did not really pay attention.

This is not a mistake. Google recommends that the links in the sitemap was the final and not przekierowującymi - while Google is properly directed and improve the support for indexing. Just do not we agree with this recommendation and we do it intentionally for performance reasons while generating sitemap.

We not getting a straight answer on this. How do we correct this issue? Obviously Google is not happy or they would not have dropped half are indexes and send us this message.

It is already answered in first reply. This is not error - Google would prefer no redirections, but will handle it appropriately. It has no negative effect on index.

If you do not want it, then please just remove additional integration code from Sitemap Generator (leave required_once). Then you will have no links for translations in sitemap and Google will not send you this message anymore. Please note that Google will still index your translated pages, because links for those are on your forum - it just can take longer.

As was already described in some threads - at this moment we decided to not support Sitemap Generation integration with translated URLs. Actual solution adds to Sietmap links for translated pages just by adding language code - without title translation. We decided this way because of performance issues - translation of all tour thread titles to all languages in same will be to time costly. We keep in mind some possible solutions like separate cache for titles, but it has low priority because actual solution is working one, efficient, and you really do not need any sitemap integration to have your translated pages indexed.

We will definitively return to this issue and at this time we have things with bigger priorities which will give you and other clients more advantages
