OK I see it. I remember similar issue as conflict with some mod. Please check it - disable other mods leave only vBET and vBA and check does it behaves OK. If yes then find which one have conflict by enabling others one by one and checking functionality.

It is definitively something form outside because it is breaking also your images in message - all have JavaScript included and title "Click here to enlarge" - this is not vBET output. Something is changing it or you changed vBET template.
