2 questions as I am paying very large sums of money each month for google translator right now.

Does vbet translate the entire page? as I have menus and such that obviously do not need to be translated 35000 times.

Can I check to insure cache is working correclty and esimate how many pages are cached already vs how many exsist?

Thanks
Chris

Also even my homepage is not fully translated in each language? Before I spenf 50K this year on translations I want to be real sure its working as it should.

To reduce translation costs please have a look here: http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet-announcements/3753-costs-optimization-how-vbet-allows-use-machine-translation-free-cheaper.html and here: http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet4-general-discussions/3168-how-make-some-text-not-translated.html. Make sure that a cache is written to a database and guests cache file are created. The main thing is to use a database cache, guests cache, free translators and do not clear database cache.
Page can not be completely translated by the exhaustion of the limits translations.

But there is no way to check on these things or see what is left to translate?

No. If there are no available translators vBET then automatically displays the original text. You can manually translate a text that has not been translated into the translated page using http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet4-general-discussions/3166-manual-translations.html.

OMG .. How many days cached translations will exist in cache before will be automatically removed (by scheduled task). Set 0 to disable.

This is set to 5, so are all my translations beiong removed after 5 days******

If so are all the cache options below disables as well if this is set to 0 ?

Please let me know asap as I have a small fortuine invested in translations already that I think are just being thrown away

To disable cleaning database cache set:

AdminCP->vBET Cache->Database Cache->Cache Time To Live (TTL) to 0
AdminCP->vBET Cache->Database Cache->Cache clearing strategy to Disabled

Information about using a database cache are described here: Use database cache (http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet-announcements/3753-costs-optimization-how-vbet-allows-use-machine-translation-free-cheaper.html#post14030) and here: Do not clear database cache (http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet-announcements/3753-costs-optimization-how-vbet-allows-use-machine-translation-free-cheaper.html#post14031).

vBET always at first uses free translators if it is set, available and support this language pair. More information: Use many machine translation providers (APIs) (http://www.vbenterprisetranslator.com/forum/vbet-announcements/3753-costs-optimization-how-vbet-allows-use-machine-translation-free-cheaper.html#post14027).
